Dominguez was being floated out there at the deadline, I think he's goneWell, either Martian is getting traded or Bellinger doesn’t resign or Grisham is back to being the 4th outfielder.
but now Jones might have to go tooDominguez was being floated out there at the deadline, I think he's gone
I honestly wouldn't have a problem with that because I'm not a fan of Jones and his 40% K rate. Sell high while we still canbut now Jones might have to go too
I'm in lockstep with you here. I was of the belief that BOTH Grisham and Bellinger can't be back, but if one of them came back, then one of Dominguez/Jones has to go too (personally I woulda let both Grisham and Bellinger walk, but I totally get it with Jones).I honestly wouldn't have a problem with that because I'm not a fan of Jones and his 40% K rate. Sell high while we still can

the problem the Yankees have is that if they could, they'd platoon everyone but Judge and Volpe because the numbers are law to them. If they can find better every day guys, that's much less of a hassle in the long run.I hate this move but I blame Cashman more for putting the offer out there. $22 million is a lot of change for a guy whose stats say he's still a platoon player.
they're not going after Skubal.Wouldn’t shock me if they try to trade both and some pitching depth to the Tigers for Skubal.
