Thanks for stating the obvious. Any person that picks up a Mic and performs is an entertainer. But his scope was much bigger than that. He's the definition of renaissance man. He could be studying poetry and ballet to being in a grimy house party with no security to chilling with gangsters or A list celebs. A lot of these new rappers could take a page out of his book
I don't disagree with what you said but how is something that most people fail to see obvious?

The Coli's foremost Tupac historian is weighing-in to set the record straight.

Tupac was an entertainer, first and foremost. His ambition allowed him to soar to the heights that he did. He was a method actor. He was in character often. He may of disillusioned from his art school background.

Tupac was "real" in the sense that he was going to be a man and stand up for himself. Tupac was not a Grand Theft Auto character. As you enter adulthood and gather the necessary perspective you realize that this 25 year old man was in character often and you will realize that you may of came to know him through the character he presented. Does this make him fake? No. It makes him an entertainer. He had a job of maintaining a brand and selling a product.

People like Wackmaster Flex 100 are essentially angry because they can't get past the facade

This is the real Tupac
