You could always do the freeway race with Franklin for a quick 4000.

This isn't a specific how to but it's something to look out for.

If you happen upon a random encounter where a guy's bike is being stolen, get rid of the thief and return the bike to the owner. An hour or so after you return the bike, you will get an email from the bike's owner stating that he's giving you 100k of stock in his pet food company.
