The online portion is what people were clamoring for before GTA4 came out

then GTA4 came out, and it wasn't quite what people were expecting, then they perfected it with GTA5

If they'd have balls they'd make the next version a quasi-MMORPG only. Still have single player content, but it can only be played online.
