Gucci Mane's "Everybody Looking" will comfortably win the US sales race. Drake's "Views," however, appears headed for week #12 atop the Billboard 200.
Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: a new album will debut at #1 on the Top Album Sales chart but trail Drake’s “Views” on the Billboard 200.

This week, the sales leader will be Gucci Mane’s “Everybody Looking.” Hits Daily Double projects the new release to sell 45-50,000 pure US copies this week.

The addition of Track Equivalent Albums (track sales/10) + Streaming Equivalent Albums (track streams/1500) should in an opening week consumption total of 69-74,000 units.

The total will likely position Gucci Mane’s album at #2 on the consumption-oriented Billboard 200. Hits expects Drake’s “Views” to retain the throne with 81-86,000 in weekly consumption.

For “Views,” this would mark a twelfth week atop the Billboard 200 chart — across thirteen weeks of availability.

Other notable pure sales performers will include “Kidz Bop 32” (~19-22,000), Beyonce’s “Lemonade” (~15-18,000), “Views” (~14-17,000), Adele’s “25” (~13-16,000) and “Hamilton: An American Musical” (~13-16,000).

Other notable consumption performers will include twenty one pilots’ “Blurryface” (~34-38,000), Rihanna’s “ANTI” (~30-34,000), “Epic AF” (~28-31,000) and “25” (~28-31,000).

Yup.

He straight came out off the hype alone and dropped a solid album..

I need to see that final number though. I got a feeling he'll be around 85-87K
