...I heard about bitcoin regarding some nerdy world of warcraft NPR segment...then gradually articles on it being used here and there and then 4 years ago as part of a replacement for "currency collapse"...... and now its worth $6,600/bitcoin ....

I did the math in my og post though... what you calculated there is the cost of buying/selling at the current price. I calculated the value of buying at 6 cents a piece and holding till today. 6 cents a BTC to 5969 dollars a BTC is what you should look at.Do the math
