There’s two types of bankruptcies most people fall under with consumer debt(excluding student loans)
Chapter 7-if you qualify, can discharge UNSECURED DEBT completely, maybe with some liquidation of property(which 9/10 won’t happen)
Which medical bills fall under
Chapter 8- is basically a payment plan for 3-5 years and usually those debts fall away afterwards
Ch. 7 cancels all debt
Ch. 8 is if you make too much disposable income
Which that money goes to a trustee in the payment and is divide amongst debtors

It is high lol. Got out the hospital around 6-7am and the walmart pharmacy was the closest and only place open at the time. They charged some $9 fee. I didn't care cuz I just wanted to get home. I don't have extra insurance, just basic canadian shyt. I dunno if it was generic or not.

Student loans never get written off bankruptcy. Idk what that poster is saying but I used to be a financial counselor and had to remind everyone with student loan debt about this fact
