Guys, do we accept gifts from girls?

I remember my brother told me a while back that I shouldn't accept gifts from girls/don't let them pay for certain things. I remember after he broke up with his girl, the chick wanted everything back, saying that it wasn't a gift, I'm not sure what her explanation was.

It's not like you can return the shirt that you bought six months ago back to Zara anyways.

But what do you guys say. Do we not accept gifts? Where do we draw the line?
I'm trying to live a drama-free life, teach the kid.

Truthfully, I hate accepting gifts anyways and don't like asking for anything, but I'm just wondering

But it's tough rejecting someone's generosity.

But if I'm dating a girl and she breaks up with me and she wants certain gifts back...that's fine. I probably wouldn't want to keep them anyway.

I think that's petty and classless to do though. To ask for a gift back.

my boy just had the same thing happen

sometimes he wouldn't want to waste the gas and see her... she'd bytch and bytch... he'd still be like nah... then she's like ok well i'm gonna GIVE you 20 or whatever... he'd still be like nah i don't want to take it.... bytch bytch bytch... finally he'd say yea and do it


so months go by, he breaks it off with her cause she's too demanding and wants all his time....

do you know this bytch kept a running tally of shyt she gave him, including gas, and then demanded he give her cash for it all
