Guys: Which Gift Would You Prefer?

Personally I wouldn't want any of those. He's your man and you know him best, why are you asking random dudes on a forum what they would like?

If he wants any of those things they would be acceptable. Most men don't care about cologne though.

Ummm because it is nice to hear a man's perspective sometimes. No different than a man asking women for advice on what a nice gift for a woman would be (because sometimes the gender you are buying for might have a little insight into what would be good versus what would be awesome).

Additionally, as someone who doesn't really keep up with basketball, I wouldn't have any idea which game to buy him tickets for and he would have probably ended up at a really lame game because of it. I didn't think it would be such a big deal to ask for advice.

That's not a guy thing really, most those motion detection games are geared towards women anyway.

Insight is one thing but picking gifts is different because we don't know your man. Does your man like basketball? Is he a big fan of the Heat or does he hate them? Does he care about cologne? These aren't things anyone here can answer for you.
