On the parasite issue...

How did humans prior to industrial farming deal with hunting and consuming wild animals then?

And given what we know about capitalism I know they are taking as much cost shortcuts so I am pretty sure parasitic organisms are growing somewhere on those big farms
Cook meat thoroughly to kill parasites.

Parasites were just something ppl dealt with. You died or you lived with them. Modern farming and regulation has taken most of that risk out but pork is something you’ve always had to cook thoroughly to avoid the risk. Parasites are a huge issue still in underdeveloped parts of the world.
also how are they getting parasites from eating up the farmers crops?
Bears in the wild get parasites because they eat salmon from contaminated water sources.
Boars eating the same corn that we eat and getting parasites doesn't make sense to me.
These are wild animals. Their feed and living areas aren’t as controlled. They’re drinking from unknown, wild water sources, rolling around and cohorting in God knows what, eating other smaller animals. They aren’t just eating the farmed fruits and veggies.

On a similar note. There are a lot of issues with farmed fish, but due to their controlled environment you don’t actually have to worry about parasites and don’t need to freeze before you eat them.
