Had a rough day today guys

I remember my dad almost begging me that last year of his life to spend more
time with him and believe me, I wanted to. But I chose to hang out with friends
and go to parties and one night he went to the hospital and he never came out.

That's why I say people learn when it's too late.

That's the part I'm sad for her. See I lost my mother a well young. She died a few weeks from my bday almost 20 years ago. You learn to cope and live on. I learned to laugh, but she died when I was 11. My gf turned 27 today. Like I said its crazy. I lost an uncle. I mean, I dunno. Life is great but it's sad to see ya loved ones go. Even though you move on, you miss them. You want them around forever. And her mother was young. 51-52. She was a cool lady. Was happy I was with her daughter.

Tha fukked up part about getting older, is you lose friends and family. some even die well before they should. Get help and don't try to endure it on your own
get counseling for your girl and support her through her struggles, and maybe in a few years she'll be able to move on

I'm sharing this because I guess I need to vent. So y'all know me and my gf were at odds but we working on it. Today is her bday and guess what? She finds out her mother died. She hadn't heard from her over the weekend and she didn't call to wish her a happy bday. They sent the police to her house in Florida and found her in bed. She might have died from the flu.

What's crazy, last month I was down there at her house. I cooked for them. We played in the pool. We had a great time and she was gonna come up for x mas. Now. I'm fukked up. I feel for my gf. It her bday. How do you celebrate it now or if ever? I'm with her now consoling with her sister. But boy it's a crazy feeling.

I say this because life is short. If you love someone, hug and tell them you love them. You never know.

Losing a parent is easily one of the hardest things I've ever had to deal with and 7 years later it stll hurts. Just let your girlfriend know you are there for her and remain strong for her because she is gonna need you to hold her down. I dont know if I could have made it through my fathers death without my now wife being there for me and just listening to me vent or just holding me when I felt like doing something stupid. I always hate to hear when someone loses a loved one, I dont know if you are religious or not but God bless you and yours homie.
