I plan on getting my hair straightened this Sunday
I'm a black dude so I was just going to pick it out, use my mom flat iron and straighten it, does that work well?

On the real though. Just take care of your hair in general. You dont have to straighten it. Im guessing you dont shampoo and condition your hair, which you should be doing. Go use Garnier Hyra Boost Shampoo and Conditioner. And some type of hair protein, if your hair is super dry. Healthy hair is more important than straight hair .
