A movie where the city is embroiled in racial turmoil from failures at a
societal and institutional level is somehow twisted into shytty post racial
social commentary.
The mother fantasizes about her white neighbor.
She has more children than she knows what to do with.
The second oldest son is so astoundingly tone deaf that he can't
for the life of him relate to the people around him in their angst and disgust.
I came into it expecting something striking and moving, I left dumbfounded with
"Why ?" being the chief question at the forefront of my mind.
