It became more of an adult event with slutty & racist costumes, wild parties, and taking pics for Instagram... Kids don't trick or treat anymore.

It's weird because only a few years ago in 2004-2006 I vividly remember getting a lot of candy from neighbors, these days people don't even go out anymore. 10 years.. god damn.. then there's going to be a day 2014 was 30 years ago.. :sadcam:

Celebrating halloween as a kid/EARLY teen in the 1990s-early 2000s was GOAT. The whole neighbourhood was into it and made sure the experience was enjoyable. Plenty of haunted houses, other kids having fun and it was relatively safe. I would get at least 4-5 bags full of candy that would last until january.

Sucks for kids growing up right now. I was walking around and only 2-3 houses were offering candy, and didnt have any decorations except 2-3 pumpkins in their front porch.

Nowadays Halloween is more for adults trying to attention whore for instagram/twitter/facebook, in lame ass cliche parties.
