shyt is fire so far. This definitely has the potential to knock off The Blind Poet off his top project spot. I'm fukking with all the beats on here. Khrysis and HaLo have such good chemistry, and Khrysis did half the beats. That Nottz joint too? Flames.

This is the best flow from Halo I've heard too. I'm definitely gonna have to really check the lyrics when I get off work.

I wish Sean Boog could've hopped on that last joint with Halo and Sundown.Those 3 are always a good team.

Anybody bump this yet? Not sure how many people have followed HaLo before, but his flow on here is way way improved than on Blind poet, which is already 3 years old. Lots of good subject matter, as well as rapping for rapping. The theme of the album is cool, and the production fits. It's boom-bappy but not dated. I think it's pretty fresh. BTW how the hell dis Masta Killah become one of my favorite Wu members?

I mean...

First, I still can't get over how poorly Jamla music is mixed and mastered.

Secondly, yeah, Mansa Musa might be the best, because I've recently gone back and listened to HeatWriter and Blind Poet and realized that I didn't even like those as much as I thought I did.

It's not so much musically, some of the beats he rhymes over are good, I just think HaLo is OK as a rapper.

Three mixtapes/albums and I don't know anything about him, his POV, his ideas etc.

I feel like if at 3 projects into a career I don't know who I'm listening to, then maybe I don't need to be listening.

People call J. Cole boring, but at least by the time Come Up, Warm Up and Friday Night Lights dropped you knew who he was as a rapper/man and what his POV was.
