back in 2001 when I first played the game on the original Xbox, when I thought of a live action halo, I’ve always assumed it be a mysterious, sci-fi thriller with a really small tight cast almost exclusively a master chief and halo story with an almost ultimated blockbuster budget. Kinda like a modern day 1987 predator movie.

not saying this is gonna be bad but it really doesn’t hold a candle or do justice to the original trilogy by the looks of the trailer.

I think from the trailer this takes it’s self way to serious. I would even say the new games 4 and 5 take themselves to serious.

in the original game you fight alone on a old ancient mysterious alien ring against genocidal race of aliens that hate your guts you have no way off and if you don’t destroy you release the flood onto the universe, you own captain gets turned into a zombie all the marines you came with die helping you and the only person who can help you is an AI in your head. THATS HALO. True fans know what I’m talking about.

there’s a reason why this show isn’t cannon cause they know with true die hard halo fans they got one chance to do a live action movie right the first time.
