She didn’t do anything wrong technically, you have no obligation to talk to the police especially if there isn’t a warrant out for your arrest. It was the media that made this whole thing a big deal…

If I want to travel to another state and stop talking to my family I should be able to do it. Trying to lock me up for not talking to police or my family is a weird standard to set.

Literally caused the death of her own father and had the country turned upside down because of her own selfishness. How much of resources could have went to finding someone whos ACTUALLY missing from being kidnapped that went to this attention seeking a$$hole?

If she was black nothing would have happened. This is more of the problem of the media overhyping missing cute white girls over everyone else.
I have a cousin who went missing in mexico and nobody ever launched a manhunt or killed themselves.
