July 5th 1969 - RZA was born as Robert Diggs
July 5th 1970 - Mac Dre was born as Andre Hicks

Mac Dre started Thizz - and independent label - Thizz Nation still houses most of the prominent acts in the Bay Area. You can see the Thizz Nation logo on many Bay Area releases

RZA started Wu-Tang Clan and the Wu-Tang Clan logo is open source which had lead to a legion of unaffiliated rappers using the Wu-Tang Clan logo

As far as music business applied to hip-hop both if these men are worthy of study

Wally's picks

Mac Dre - "Get Stupid"
Mac Dre - "Not My Job"
Mac Dre - "On My Toes"
Mac Dre - "There's A Song 4 U"

Mac Dre's catalog is ever-expansive and one of the most consistent catalogs hip-hop has to offer. There's different eras of his career and there's about 3 distinct styles you can hear in his body of work. So there's evolution and reinventions

RZA - "Try Ya Ya Ya"
RZA - "You Can't Stop Me Now"
RZA - "Fatal"
RZA - "Up Again"

One of the greatest producers of all-time. He's responsible for making the careers of many of the fine examples of talent from the Wu-Tang camp. If you let that sink in for a minute, just about every member had a prominent career it really puts his abilities as a producer into perspective

You're image didn't show up but what is it that you intend to imply?

Off the context of your post I'm assuming you mean 50 Cent but he was born the 6th or 4th

Sorry Wally, I respect Mac Dre to the fullest but that Thizz Mac Dre is not my cup of tea.

this guy however....

:whew::whew:

Hmm, because of his legend status Mac Dre is still picking up new fans to this day - these are fourth generation fans now and I would say most of them are into the Thizz era music me included. However I still like pre-Thizz Dre and prefer it to other rappers. I respect it but I rank that era at third just under old school Dre -

Thizz era Dre was ahead of his time

Pre Thizz era / post prison Dre seemed like he was still finding himself - great material tho

This is a nice cut that didn't make the LP - who also did another song by the same name

it's very interesting to compare Mac Dre's debut album with Snoop Dogg's debut, both are produced by a single producer and have a similar amount of tracks

Snoop/Dre had a squad of producers plus pretty much everything was sampled.

Khayree did everything for Mac Dre and even tho there was samples it was primarily original.

Al Boo Boo came out 2 years or a year before the others and all of those are below average albums.

None can hold a flame to Stupid Doo Doo Dumb, Rapper Gone Bad, Young Black Brotha, The Rompalation...etc.
