I don't agree completely. But the saying originally come from how women will mag to death when they are unhappy. If you married a bird then that saying will eff your life up (word to @General Mills ). Even if you married a good woman her happiness should not constantly come at the expense of your own.

Got some truth to it but not the way they say it. I make my wife happy by doing things she likes and all but she does the same. Plus at the end of the day I'm the leader of our house so if I make a decision she disagrees with, she'll let me know what she thinks but respects it and keeps it moving.
Eh...half truth....a woman's gonna complain regardless.... Handle your business and lead and all will be well... A happy man can execute the master plan... Which then can lead to a comfortable life for her... Which in turn makes her happy...
