Who would u resign if u were OKC when the time comes? I heard the dudes on First Take say Ibaka because u can't teach size. But Harden has the chance to be the best shooting guard in the league. A guy u can build around and can possible lead u to a title. While i fukks with Ibaka i don't think he'll ever be a 20-10 type player. Just a damn good role player who plays decent d. And u can find them pretty much on every team in the L. But a guy like Harden who gets to the rack at will and is an above average playmaker. They don't grow on trees.

Serge Ibaka is one of the most overrated players in the NBA.Give me James Harden any day.Harden will be a perennial all star,Ibaka is a glorified role player who is about to get vastly overpaid.

In a vacuum, I think Harden is the more valuable player.

But if I'm OKC, I'd be more aggressive with Ibaka. I expect that he'd cost less and his skillset would be missed more by the team...assuming they still have both Westbrook and Durant.

Of course the ATL
Both played like ass in the Finals...Harden looked scared out there on the big stage & Ibaka was ineffective. If I HAD to pick one, I'd go Ibaka. It's easier to find a scorer than a perennial DPOY candidate in Ibaka.

personally I would want Harden to stay. Just this season there was a stretch where he was scoring 30- 40 points for the em a night, making big assists getting teammates involved, hit clutch shots, etc.

that finals performance really did a hit to his image. Everybody's gonna forget all the positives now. This is just dudes second season with any real playing time now that Jeff Green is gone. Plus Maynor coming back will help him out since he'll be able to handle the ball handling instead of Harden every time.

I'd love for them to keep both. Neither should be paid THAT much but the interest is obviously there for both. Wonder what Presti has in mind...

Keep IBAKA it is easier to replace Harden I can name 5 sg right now who aren't as good but would be productive.

Lou Williams
Jamal Crawford
Courtney Lee
Nick Young
Shannon Brown

now these guys arent as good but they would produce in that same role as Harden.

I liked Harden, although he performed like a ballet school girl in a room full of max security prisoners during the finals.

I would have to go with Ibaka. You can't teach that athleticism, size, and shot-blocking ability. Already has a good 18-foot jumper at 22. If he can develop a few moves in the post(not saying he can become the next Akeem), he's a keeper.

How can they keep both? Even if they could they wouldn't have anything left over for role players. And Harden will get a max type offer from someone. And yeah he struggled in the Finals but that cat was an assasin the rest of the time. Let's not act like other good to great players haven't struggled in their first finals too. And to the guy who quoted the part about him being a building block and a potential leader of a championship team. Well i stand by that statement lets not forget how he took over a few of those games against the Lakers in the offs. And didn't back down from Kobe.

Harden, but the money might not work out. Dude is gonna want to be paid like a big time starter, and I can't blame him

They could always trade Worstbrook and get an actual PG :yeshrug:
