I honestly didn't notice that, lol can't unsee.

From what I understand....that's not that uncommon in Hollywood. Supposedly, it's an old trick meant to make male characters look more masculine/intimidating.

Or it could just be something they used it for that particular shot to make his expression stand out under the sunglasses better....
