As the title says. You'll know what I mean as there was you before you watched the flick and you after.

Its like a switch was tripped, a firmware update installed or a light went on in a room previously dark and things were never the same.

Some aspect of you that resided at a depth silently said "I can dig it" as you incorporated what unfolds then you set off on enjoying the rest of your life with this insight you previously never had but gained thanks to these 90 minutes chunks of entertrainment...

No Sudden Move

Matt Damon"s cameo....the rich capitalist that always comes out on top.

Peter Tscherkassky's "Outer Space". Barbara Hershey from "The Entity", re-cut.

Saw this in a theater. My introduction to experimental film. Completely changed my vision of film as an art. The concept of creating your own access instead of being beholden to a studio and their budgets. Confirming to no one's expectations from monetary constraints. As naive as it was, I'd never realized that film could be created independently. Devoid of any element I was familiar with in what I'd seen up to that point. Opened up a whole new world to me and I am grateful.

Fair warning, this won't be for everyone:

The Wall
I know its the cliche answer but I have to say The Matrix

I was 16-17 when that movie came out and it really opened my mind to how naive I was to everything in life.

Accepting everything I was told without doing my own research it led me to Atheism when I started researching what else was going on in the world when Abraham was being whispered to( The Mayans and their great civilization, The chinese making paper, Africans doing various great things etc)

The Matrix truly made me free my mind and I feel Im a much better human for it!
