America has fallen off in terms of being the relatively sole dominant, hegemonic power influencing global politics, culture and economics. That said, the USA is still very powerful. We are moving into an increasingly more multipolar world. It is going to be about regions more than any one specific country in due time.

As I've traveled, I've found many people still love Western culture but more countries are adding their own ideas to their cultural mix than just wholesale buying everything Western like in the past. The world's changed.
