I like Shyne, thought he was a good lyricist, nice flow, voice, in latter stages of his career more content, early stages had more street shyt, wouldn't have him in top 20 or 30 probably but still am a fan.

Lyrics do matter, course they do, but I think Shyne was a solid lyricist, not Rakim lol but it would be boring if everyone had the same style.

Canibus could have been on top, the status of Hip Hop would have been a lot better had he been. I think LL was reaching thinking Bis dissed him though, felt that was a wack thing to do. Anyway Bis has a solid discography and career regardless, but he could have been even bigger.
