Anyone?
Yes, any speed of fastball is hittable if you know its coming but I will say that a 90 mph fastball looks much different in person than it does on tv. Ill never understand how major league hitters can turn on a 100mph fastball but would have been equally prepared to turn on a 65mph curveball. If I faced major leaguers I would get some solid hits but I would also be swinging at a lot of 50 foot curveballs and eye high fastballs along the way.
I've done it a couple of times in games.
I played against John Ely my senior year in HS

He was clocked in the mid 90s throughout the season that year, I hit lead off also. He had me down 0-2, I really should have K'd cause he froze the fukk out of me with a good curve ball on the next pitch. But the ump called it a ball so...
I ended up hitting a line drive to right field to kick the game off. Stole second a few pitches after that...
As for the rest of my team?...
Let's just say after I reached, nobody else got a hit off of dude. I believe I went 1 for 2 off of dude with 1 walk.
I got a hit off a guy in college that was throwing in the 90s also, but I don't remember his name.
