I’ve seen the movie (Jim Cavaziel) about 5 times and really love it. I’ve always meant to read the book but the size of it has always put me off. Those who’ve read it, how similar is the movie version to the book version? Any plot changes etc?

No book spoilers please. If there’s one different from the movie

It’s really good. I remember seeing a black and white movie version as a kid but don’t remember anything about it. The book is great though.

I’d also recommend The Club Dumas, which is a great novel loosely based on the author of The Count Of Monte Cristo. It’s like a mystery/suspense/horror book.

I've had it on my list for a minute.

It is quite the long book for sure.

After Executioner's Song, at over 1100 pages, I try not to dive into such lengthy books.

One day...
