redbox would charge you after rental fees like 1$ per day

so in theory you could rent a game and keep it forever
then pay it off slow... I think I did this with a 2nd copy of Skyrim once... I saw I was being charged and I was like fukk it

people were taking those barcodes off too and putting them on the damaged discs and returning those

But mainly GameFly, was it any good? I never used it but it was always on my radar :jbhmm:

I use gamefly. Let's me test out games I'm unsure of. And if I want to keep them I go into my account and click keep, they charge me and then send me the original case.

Nintendo gives you real money when you put a game cartridge in and get the Nintendo points. I've bought a few games with points that I got just by having gamefly ship out a game, I get the game put the cartridge in and grab the points then ship it back and repeat.

I used to use RedBox. I didn't have a problem taking a bit of a drive to get the game I wanted. Just pull up the app and see what games are where, reserve it and pick it up. I stopped that because three times I got scammed. Once was for Destiny. I got it and someone made a photocopy of the disk, put it back in the case and returned it to RedBox. As long as it reads the bar code the kiosk doesn't know. The same thing happened again with whatever year Madden and I can't remember the other game, but this time they used a label maker and put the label on blank CDs. I also had Gamefly but I could never get the game I wanted. They were never available. So I just dropped it.
