Has anyone made at least 40k a year doing Uber, Doordash, Instacart, etc?

Just wondering if anyone was able to make enough income where its more than a side hustle, and an actual job?
Or if you know anyone that does it

If so, how many hours you work?
Any crazy stories with customers?

I believe driving people is more cost effective. With courier missions you have to take into account a lot more vehicle expenses than just taxiing

Edit: and to answer the question, I'm pretty sure there are some making 40k+, but they probably working 10hrs 6 days a week. I personally cannot be sat for that long. Maybe i could, but I'd be worrying about getting flabby and sick while simultaneously not having ample enough time to hit up the gym

Yea last yea I made 45k and I did it about 8 of the 12 months and got a job from like October to feb of this year


This year I’m at about 28-30k so far.

40k net would be tough when you factor in vehicle expenses. It's possible but you need to grind and be in a populated city.

I made 20k to 25k as a delivery driver last year. It's possible if you grind hard enough but it gives your car a lot of wear and tear.

I'm not even referring to taxes, there's cost to doing business as well that needs to be factored, like gas and car repair, that cuts into the pay.

I’m in New Orleans but it’s not that hard tbh. Do it like a real job, use all the benefits like gas discounts, maintenance discount and rack up good on tips

So for me I wake up at 6am if I don’t have to take my son to school. If I have to o drop him off bout 7pm

I pack my lunch on most days and take a hour lunch where I workout for 30 minutes and eat lunch on the other.

I’m usually off by 4-5pm with about 200+ dollars

I only do Uber and Lyft. I go to where the promotions are.

Usually work about 30-35 hours and if I’m trying to accomplish something I work more. For essence I worked about 45 hours and made 2500.
