Im seriously thinking about doing it.

I just started a career in b2b sales, and ive been thinking of chronicling it.
The industry im in has nobody doing anything like this...I think I could gain a decent following in a year or so.

This dude started like a year ago doing it...and his career is moving really fukin fast. He only has 700 subscribers...but thats all he needs to have a decent name in his industry

Man i might. I didn't know you could make money from it. So when i heard the news about Wiz See you again getting the most views on youtube, i said Wiz has to be making money from those views. So i researched it and..... How much does Wiz Khalifa's 'See You Again' earn as the most-watched YouTube video ever?

So, with ‘See You Again’ closing in on 3 billion views, just how much money does it bring in?

Let’s start with with some metrics: this BuzzFeed story about Indian YouTuber Dhinchak Pooja, and this analysis by Cisco’s Mira Zaslove on Quora indicate that, on average, YouTubers earn about $1,000 per million views. That’s after the platform takes its 45 percent cut from ad revenue.

So, with 2.9 billion views, you’re looking at about $2.9 million for Wiz and Co. Of course, how much he gets to take home depends on his arrangement with his label and distribution company. Not bad for a minimally produced music video released in 2015.

Dj akademiks- He has an estimated net worth of $600,000 earned from YouTube and other ventures. That's from Celebrity networth. Not always accurate but sounds like he made a decent amount from his youtube channel.

Yea....but its not even about making money from Youtube ads.
its a good way for the average person to promote themselves...even if they have a regular 9-5 job.

It makes you stand out in the job market.
Potential employers/clients will have a bond w/ you before they even meet you.

Social blade is not accurate, but it is a good tool to gage.

A lot of popular channels are apart of marketing groups that take a cut.

If you're going to get started I suggest you also do Twitch. Build up a following.

My cousin does a part time fitness motivation IG. He gets contacted by small companies to wear their product. Lots of ways to make money through social media but it's going to be a grind and you have to commit to it full time if you want to make the big money.

Best of luck breh

I have one that I started years ago. Only have 1000 subs.

Been thinking about starting a video podcast, where I interview musicians/artists/ businesses people.
