Has Big Sean Surpassed Drake as an Artist?

They're in the same lane... they both make a lot of R&B x HipHop records. Big Sean is clearly the better MC right now going off of their most recent work. And judging off of their song making ability... I think Big Sean has surpassed Drake. He does Drake better than Drake does Drake... if that makes any sense.

They're not as sonically innovative.

Sean's commercial projects are generally very safe.

I'm a huge Sean fan. Been a fan since he did "Get'cha some" on the Glow in the Dark Mixtape before Graduation came out.

I get it.

Sean's a hell of a rapper too...but musically? I'm taking Drake. I just feel like he understands the ear better than he gets credit for.
