Yeah, 'cause Diddy was convicted of his crime. OJ was not.

Puffy was never as likable and mainstream the way OJ was.

OJ was definitely a B-list actor at best but he cultivated a wholesome (some may call it sterile) image as a non-threatening man.

The murder was a total shock to the general public.

The Puffy drama has captured people’s attention but nobody was really surprised he was a sexual deviant dirtbag.

agree with this. I will say it will be interesting to see how Diddy is treated once he's out. Like OJ tried to move like nothing ever happened and people for the most part stayed on his neck. I can see Diddy being clowned more often in public like people trying to get him to sign baby oil bottles and shyt. But, I don't really feel like his sexual deviancy is gonna draw the same ire with the public that people thinking OJ got away with murder did for OJ. I mean Cosby is older and a different type of sexual deviant. But, I guess maybe Puffy being younger he will catch similar reactions to what Cosby receives when he's out about and will experience it for much longer than Cosby.

I would feel more comfortable at an OJ party than at a Diddy party…

Not really the point.

Yes, but that may add to it. People have been waiting on the Diddy show to drop so to speak.

Same as when people wonder why "The Culture" turned on Aubrey so quick. It took someone of equal weight to do it, but the sentiment was bottled/delayed.

White people don't really care about Diddy. They loved OJ, first for him being an all-time superstar football player, then the image he cultivated after that. Then he murdered a beautiful, blonde white woman (his own ex-wife). It was all too much and made their heads collectively explode.

Diddy on the other hand seems to not have touched any white people (as far as I'm aware of).
