I don't think Atlantic wanted him. I keep saying this but it is important. The name "GUNPLAY" is toxic for an artist name. He got thrown off performance schedule to do afterparty awards show at either Billboard or Grammys. He said that in a interview and I was like : "Why didn't the label let you use, Don Logan" ? .

I think that name prevented him from a lot of business. Not as much as Uncle Murda but still a lot of people are shaken about something that easily defined. No one wants to smile & say "Ladies n Gentleman,GUNPLAY"
It might be why he won't be doing many media appearances this summer as well.
