Obviously the sample sizes are much larger now because its not just you and your team, kicking it, philosophizing on god, church, bytches and all which gives you a wider perspective with more info pouring in.

A few threads on here recently got me thinking as people seem to be getting more and more savage. Could it be the sheen of anonymity that allows people to let loose and reveal the true you as they confess their inner secrets and experiences or is it because we're hearing more and more folk sharing tales of how people really ain't ish. Or was it like this from the jump but kept under wraps as society was more straight laced but people still did dirt but kept it on the low.

True, true. But that energy really hasn't gone anywhere, its just been siphoned in a different direction with a new form of indirect expression. You could also argue that we're seeing less of the blatant violence due to declining testosterone levels over the past few decades:

as that fuels a lot of risk taking behavior as well as the rise of CCTV which means no more shooting the fair one without potential legal consequences. People vent on social media instead but the underlying drive to do harm is still the same, just the body is more frail so the Twitter fingers come out.

To me that is the worst thing you could do; enslave a family for generations, beat and rape them, and force them to work for your profit. That has happened in most corners of the world and it happened for hundreds of years if not thousands. Today, in America/what we see, there is general violence, abuse, killings, etc. people aren't more savage collectively. I think we are more tame than our ancestors.
