Nailed it. It's barely even started and she's had a nice lil impact on the culture off the summer alone. If she transitions into making school + thot music, it's a wrap. There are colleges full of women ready for something like that.

Surprised she didn't go through with the hot girl fall shyt but she might be saving it for next year.

word son, hot girl summer was handled wrong by her label tough. if it first got leaked in mid april & officially released late may with a video it could have been way bigger than an internet meme. summer smash on par with in my feelings last year

not to mention the egregious act of never making a video for cash shyt when her dababy went absolutely nuts on that track. and i actually give her the edge on that one keep it a brick

She's the most mishandled artist I've ever seen. Her team never capitalized on anything.



The crazy thing is they shot a big budget Hype Williams video with DaBaby, put out a trailer, and then claimed to be reshooting it months ago. Still hasn't dropped even tho "Cash Sh*t" was organically one of the hottest songs of the summer. This is even worse than the "Magic Stick" situation with Lil Kim & 50 Cent:snoop:.




Nevermind how they fumbled everything about Hot Girl Summer from the merch to the lackluster song coming out in the fall basically. Never seen somebody fumble consecutive layups like this.

She could have went with the "Hot Nerd Fall" thing for school...but nope, nothing. She has beef with her label 1501 (who has her for 4 albums) and that's pretty much put everything to a halt. Looks like she's not trying to support Fever or drop any real new stuff until she's off of 1501, but the owner has a contract and enlisted J. Prince to help hold him down.

Her trying to leave has her career in a similar bad spot as Lil Uzi. She's gonna have to do some sort of rebrand before next summer and switch things up.
