In my own league.
Obama is just like every other politician and president. They can only do what they are allowed to by the establishment. Presidents don't hold that much power as much as people think they do unless they show favortism to the wealthy and powerful elite.
I wouldn't say he was a "disaster," but he filled the status quo and that's why he did more for other people other than Black People.
Also, you can't do but so much when you inherited such a mess from the previous presidency.

What did he really want to do anyway? Dude is a centrist, he would not have done much truly substantial even if he had a supermajority. What we saw is who he is.
I agree, he is a centrist. He just ran one of the best marketing campaigns of all time projecting himself as a progressive visionary. I've tried to give him the benefit of the doubt because of what he means to me symbolically but i wish he'd done more

When did he say he was going to end racism? How can anyone accomplish that?
Also, how was he supposed to stop radical Islamic terrorism? That is like being angry at someone for not being able to rid the world of all evil completely. That is not humanly possible since man has been killing one another since we have been on this planet.
