hard for me to take the NFL seriously when a player gets fined 20k for smashing Cam's head while a player gets half that for twerking

Their product isnt as good as it once was

There arent as many marquee players like there was 3-4 years ago when their ratings were at an all time high

The level of play isnt as good. Just look at some of the starting QBs of some of these teams

Context is everything.
Back in the days, On Sundays there'd be 2-3 different games on fox on .. last week, just the local team.
The same with cbs, in the past, 2-3 games.this week, just the local team...
Back in the day, even if there's a game your not intrested is on, you'll still stand by until the next one is on...

The NFL got greedy, and tried to push nfl "leauge pass" by showing less games... ppl got around it, and instead stream 4 free.
Ppl was always gonna stream, but the NFL didn't help the situation.

hmm...i didn't know that's what caused this. there wasn't a game on last week i cared to watch, and i was confused why there was only one game on at a time and no double headers
