GTR never had swagger. The problem is that's its too boy racer. I wouldn't turn one down but I never cared for it. You spend all that money and the car don't even look exotic.

For $80k- $200k I'm going Corvette or Porsche.

Most GTR are probably not stock at this point AND the GTR is in BAD need of a next generational shake up. The new Z is basically just a remodel of the 370. Looks good but most of the underpinnings are from the last generation. Nissan is down bad.

I've never really liked the R35s. They're so fat. The old Skyline GTRs were so much better in every way.

The same goes for the new generation NSXs, Supras, and RX-9s. Even the more humble Civic Type-Rs have succumbed to the 21st century pandemic of obesity amongst Japanese sportscars. The Lancer Evolution is out of production now, but their latest models were similarly overweight, if not quite obese, compared to their predecessors. And the same can be said for the Impreza WRX.

The thing that made Japan great was how compact and lightweight their sportscars were. It allowed them to install small, efficient engines and still develop incredible speed thanks to the phenomenal power to weight ratio. Their body shape and low weight also meant that, to a man, they were all superb at corners. And aesthetically, the slim Japanese joints were striking to behold.

None of that is the case anymore. We no longer have lithe, agile and graceful fencers from Japan. Instead, all we get are fat sumo wrestlers
