This isn't a KD hate thread
When you sit back and realize all the help KD has had, it's fukking crazy
His second year in the league, Westbrook came because they were terrible his rookie season. In comparison, Melo took his team to the playoffs in his Rookie season, so the draft lottery wasn't an option, and Bron had to deal with shytty Cavs manangement.
But KD has been
with a pretty damn good GM. Presti does an amazing job drafting
KD has played with a top 5 player in Westbrook. Another top 20 player in Ibaka. He played with Harden, who after the season he left went on to average 25 a game and became a top 10-12 player as well.
He's had the benefit of one coach, a small market that has still been able to sign free agents, and his second option is a Top 5-7 player, his third option is a double doubt 2+ block machine.
I'm thinking back, and KD has a lot of fukking help. I mean Bron's second option was Mo Williams. Melo's best second option ever, even in the west was a faded A.I, and a legless Amare.
Rose's second option was who? Carlos Boozer ?
Wade had a faded Shaq (who was still very good, but not close to the Shaq that Kobe played with) and he got a ring.
Kobe would be an example, but everyone is going to play second fiddle to that version of Shaq, and no one was trying to make a case for him as best in the league back then
KD has been blessed for most his career.
More than just about anyone
With all the help that KD has had, more than Lebron, Melo, Wade, Rose, McGrady, Kobe (post Shaq), what's stopping him from getting it done.
Im starting to question KD a bit
