Cops ain’t gonna help u either.
Get an alarm system after the fact but still won’t get your shyt back.
My parents' big ass house got broken into and burglarized. I don't know why they ain't install a proper security system, the community isn't gated

Ever since my first house got broke into I keep a lil vicious ass dog that hates strangers.
Back when I was coming up my partners use to break into houses. These nikkas was 12-13 with stacks of money in their pockets. They broke into an NFL players off season home and hit a lick.
Id steal my grandmothers van and take them to the mall and they would ball out and buy me stuff too. Police in that area dont investigate burglaries not unless the value exceeds $5000. So cops wouldnt do shyt.
Your best bet is to call insurance and file a claim. Your shyt is already sold.

When I was a kid before we moved out the hood we used to get robbed on the regular. One time we got our door busted down and after my mom went through the crib the only thing she could find that was gone was some frozen waffles 
Worst feeling in the world. Lost two flat screens xbox ps3 4 wasnt out yet jewlery shoes damn cable box they cleaned me out. But the dummies didnt look at the top of the light in the bathroom. Behind the cover foe the light was the work.

I stay at my dads house he only charges me 100 a month to stay but that nikka is a Nigerian trick and always gettin set up and robbed by some young ratchet hoes they probably thought he just stayed alone here
