How does it work brehs? I'm thinkin bout this New Orleans shyt, I wanna go down there. But I don't know if a travel package is worth it. Plus, do I want to go to HOF/RAW/SD/NXT that's a lot of shows, I'm mainly interested in WM and maybe axxess

what's the difference between a VIP session at axxess and a regular session :patrice:

What kind of hotel they set u up in :jbhmm:

You're better off doing your own homework and booking it yourself. There is so much other non-WWE stuff going on from Wednesday-Sunday as well (WrestleCon is always a must).

The first thing to worry about is locking in your flight and hotel at a decent price. Most airlines and hotels will only book 6 months in advance, but call around. Make a note on your phone to remind you of the date they will start taking bookings and jump on it that day. The prices will only rise from that point on.

For WWE events, obviously Wrestlemania is a must. Raw and Smackdown as well, along with at least one day at Wrestlemania Fan Access. As far as NXT and Hall of Fame goes, that's just personal preference and depends on what's going on/who's going in. Again, there is so much non-WWE stuff going on that you could pass up these two events for cheaper options.

Downtown NOLA will be a party the entire time. You will see a lot of former and current WWE wrestlers hanging out on Bourbon and drinking with the fans. Great experience.

yeah I know they got Evolve, ROH and all that but if I'm going down there I want to experience the city more so than go to more wrestling shows feel me. I wanna see WM, NXT possibly. Do you know what the difference is between a VIP pass at access and regular admission?

Regular admission gives you access to meeting probably 75% of the wrestlers when they sign.

But if you want to meet "The Big Dog" then you're going to have to pay extra for that VIP so you can stand in line with all the 10 year old kids.

Man I was thinking of trying it this year myself and the package looked interesting (pause)
They have different options ranging from 6 nights to 3-5 and different seats obviously the most expensive being in the Plat package (Coswt range from like 900-5,000 bucks for the big ballers out there)

They had tickets to Access all days, NXT, Hall of fame, Raw, Smackdown, Universal Studios (which might mean a TNA tix too lol) and Mania

One thing I noticed with each package, even within the options its cheaper if you get one where you're sharing with a friend or two or three vs going dolo

Wanted to try this year but got too much up in the air career/work shyt in the first quarter to go. Will try next year

I probably would have gone nuts trying to figure out how to do so much shyt too down in Orlando and I hear it was a nightmare to drive around for Mania 24.

Obviously all the non WWE stuff you gotta pay separate for but apart from Wrestlecon it doesnt sound too expensive so you gotta pick your RoH/Wrestlecon/JR Q&A/WNN Live/UK Pro events/Walemania.

This past year in Texas would have been good cause it seemed like everything was going on within 5-10 minutes of each other.

Hopefully New Orleans is like that cause I would want to go to the non WWE stuff too like Wrestlecon's show, its conventions, ROH and maybe an Evolve show.

The package at least takes care of the WWE stuff though

And honestly you'll probably find more stars at Wrestlecon on the Saturday and Friday than on Access where it depends on who has legends deal or doesnt

But Wrestlecon is hella expensive cause everyone is charging for a pic and autograph at different rates and then dependng on what you wanna buy at the stalls. Its like a comic con

Access I believe has everything covered and paid by just buying a ticket to begin with

They'll most likely stick you in a regular hotel room. I don't know how you'd feel about that if it's four guys going. Plus you gotta get your own flight. I know there's a day to get flights cheap. I think Tuesdays but not certain the time. Problem with flights is that they get released after the travel packages. You'll easily spend 2k on everything and maybe more depending on the city. Doing things individually helps if you only want to do certain things. There are plenty of Indy shows going on that weekend. I feel that the hof is the least important thing. It's good to go individual and get better seats for mania. It also depends on the city. I know this year they were including a ticket to a universal theme park. That might sound good but not every city may offer something. You gotta decide what everyone in the group wants.

So far this year I got my accommodations handled, (friend hooked it up on an apartment rental) and a ticket for mania. My friend dropped the ball on the raw tickets, hoping we get great nxt seats and other Indy events. A flight won't cost me anything. Oh that's another thing, are they gonna have transportation for you? Maybe to the events but what about everywhere else?

Seems like all the shows doing packages. They got one for survivor series in Houston. I don't know if summer slam has a package but i would love to go to New York for that.

Keep your eye on stubhub for raw tickets. You'll be able to get in there for a decent price when people start panicking about their tickets not selling. I would even wait til the day of if I had to.

@Two Stacks prepare the guest room for me..and have that bad lil rich Asian broad waiting for me as well :steviej:
