I dont know if we've reached pixar level yet

But the game with the highest in game fidelity is MSFS2020 ultra settings

MSFS ultra can display and off load petabytes of graphical information due to cloud support

No graphics card or console on its own will come even remotely close achieving that type of fidelity for a very, very, very long time, if ever

So if anything will take us to that point it will be MS and cloud computing, in fact cloud integration will take us far beyond pixar quality gameplay
