You can't even play the game without a GTX 680 or better. Just 1.5 years ago that card was one of the better cards you could buy and now it's the bare minimum to boot a game.

Shouldn't be nothing for that master race lifestyle :ehh:

I'm going to say that this may be another Shadow of Mordor or The Struggle Within scenario in which the requirements were overblown. Until the game is out and the guinea pigs test it out, there's nothing to worry about.

I think that might be wishful thinking. I'm sure you've seen the videos. shyt looks demanding as fukk.

But we'll see. I'll be one of those guinea pigs. If I can get it to run on 3 monitors, then gpus below a 680/770 should be able to run it fine.

I say that because I find it hard to believe that the game will run perfectly smooth (I'm guessing 900P/30fps on PS4 and 720P/25fps XB1) on consoles but suddenly crack on PC's that are brutally stronger??

1) ubisoft sucks at optimization and 2) you need 2x the power of the consoles for equivalent performance (at least according to some developers. It might even be more).

2x the gpu of the consoles is basically a 770, right?

I heard the GPU equivalent of the PS4 is something in between a Radeon HD 7850-7870 and the XB1 a 7770-7790.

shyt so maybe a 290x and 780 are 2x as powerful then. Maybe that's why they're recommended.

It's gonna be rough with these truly next gen games :mjcry:

hate when a PC game requires strong ass hardware but looks almost the same as the console cousin. If it requires those parts, 1080P/60fps with noticeably better gfx should be no sweat given you have the hardware.

At 1080p, yeah. I'm not worried about that one bit. But the way I game on three monitors, I'm pretty much in the same boat as everybody else. You gotta understand I'm pretty much in the same boat as 760 users due to my 3 monitor demands.

I know, I know....first world problems.

Well this is an easy answer.
You are a consumer
You know a thing or two about computers, but the truth is your knowledge is limited
Everyone that knows anything about PC's online always acts like they fully understand the inner workings of PC's
Lets say you do... when will you dudes realize that your vast knowledge on PC's means squat when it comes to consoles?

A console doesn't need the same specs because a console has locked specs, locked targets.
So they can create more with less basically. Well known, always been like that
Then once a new gen comes along, some young whippaz enter the scene brand new on how things work
And they throw around there vast knowledge on how PC's work :snoop:

How about we stop acting like we know how powerful/weak or consoles are. That is not for YOU to determine
Its for the developers. Cloud/Tiled Resources/DX12 coming sooner than Uncharted 4 :banderas:
