I don't give a shyt about fashion...I have started dressing girlier (heels, dresses, skirts, etc) but not necessarily following a trend of anything.

Sometimes I buy ugly/unique clothing items just to see if I can pull it off. :smugfavre:

Usually I can but now unfortunately I have a bunch of unique pieces that don't go together. :aicmon:

I wear whatever I want everyday b

This minus a work setting where I'm forced to dress a certain.

I don't follow trends. I do me and remain fresh regardless. If I like something I'll add it to my repertoire, but it has to be what I genuinely like, not because I'm told I'm supposed to like it.

I know most of you will react poorly to this question since most people are followers,

You answered your own question. Just look how fast a smiley or phrase catches on here.

Me though, i`m completely anti-fashion. Because to be for fashion is to be for the trend and following what everyone else is doing. I know a grown man who literally looks like one of them H&M manequins, and he swears that he's the shyt because of it.

Style, now that's something entirely different.

If you put it this way, then I guess I'm stylish but not fashionable :russ:

I actually stopped "following" fashion in high school. I was name branded out in 2004-2006. Fitteds, Jordans. Even had a fake gold chain. I dressed like a rapper, in high school.

I was lookin' crazy, in college, freshman year, cuz I was still dressin' like a high school kid (Rocawear/LRG/Akademiks shirts and jeans a size too big) and switched to a more subdued style of non-name brand clothes that fit. That was really the last time I changed my "Style" 5 years ago.

Nowadays, I couldn't care less about style. But, I still need to get some more professional pieces of wardrobe.

I know most of you will react poorly to this question since most people are followers, not leaders. But have you ever decided to not follow a fashion trend and wear whatever you wanted? While having people stare at you in the process? (in school and/or work)

Being anti-fashion is itself being a follower.

"This is in, so I'm going to wear that"

"This is in, so I'm not going to wear that"

In both cases you are reacting to whatever the current trends are.

Not really, most people who are anti-fashion don't bother to find out what is in fashion in the first place.

Not like an anti-fashion dude goes checks a magazine and says "I can't buy that!"

Except whatever is fashionable at the time is what he is going to get exposed to the most. Whether through magazines, tv or just walking into a clothing store. He's gonna end up at least partly fashionable just by being exposed to these clothes and finding something to like.
