My senior year I got into a heated argument with my best friend. It's getting to the point where we both yelling. He gets up and I'm like so naturally I stand up and he gets in my face . This dude raises his arm and dropped down a thunderous thump dead on the side of my chin . That shyt sounded off like a whip. When I closed my eyes, I could literally see a red strike just flash in front of a black screen. I took a step back, looked him dead in the eyes, and just shook my head in such disappointment. I didnt care that he had thumped my chin, I was disappointed that he would risk throwing away a 10+ year friendship. I told him to get out of my house and pointed to the door. He leaves. Anyways I don't remember how but we eventually got cool again. I wouldn't say we're best friends anymore but if I see him, there isn't any type of beef or anything.

Depends on how you slap them.....it can be the ultimate form of disrespect. It's like "You're not a threat. I'll slap the sh!t out of you and walk away while you think about it".
