When I say courageous, I mean the crowd acts one way. And you go totally against it and act another. Let's say somebody picking on a slow kid or a :dame: and you go against the crowd. And say something. Or somebody faints and you don't just watch. You do something. Or a car accident happens and you just don't gawk and go on your way like everybody else. You get the point.

yeah, that's kind of a grandiose description, it wasn't a big deal to me but recently

Saw a really drunk girl, draped in Dior, and plastic surgery stumble around a corner, staggering, couldn't walk, and I had this moment, watching her stagger into a dark street, really didn't want to get involved, but took like 10 seconds, and thought about it

Walked around the corner and she was already on the ground, and some homeless tweaker was like poking her and touching her, so I walked up, he tried to flex, just ignored him, he tried to kind of push me, but again just kind of ignored him and got her safely back to her friend, after about 10 minutes of drunken tears.

whenever I tell that story to anyone (edit, men) they are like BUT YOU COULD HAVE BEEN HURT, I'm like by a sucked up homeless tweaker?

Yeah it would have been bad for her if you minded your own business. That's good

There were two roommates fighting, they fell into the hallway. I opened my door and was watching them, like cool a fight. Then the angrier one got one top and started pounding the other one in the head. Now I'm thinking dammit I can't let this go on. So I started walking over I was thinking how am I going to break this up without getting involved. Luckily as a walk over he stood up and started kicking dude in the head, so all I had to do was stand over the dude on the ground and block the kicks. By this time their other suite mate showed up. The angry dude is now yelling at the kid on the ground and the suite mate. I just walked back to my room. As I walked back I look down the hall and all I see is people standing in doorways staring down the hallway like.

If a car accident happens with a pedestrian ever happens again I'm built for it. Ain't tryna see that happen tho.

At my old old job, something happened politically. I developed a solution, teamed up with some coworkers and wound up in the news... got "flewed out" to some shyt in NYC, "flewed out" again and paid half a rack to speak at a Power 5 school, and a GLOBALLY RECOGNIZED company featured me in a conference they had going on. I was even meeting with the city. Then my job worked with OTHER globally recognized companies to build the full vision of what I had in mind.... told me "You don't care about your job" anymore and laid me off :francis: Icarus was courageous too

I don’t think I’ve been placed in such a situation before…ngl my first instinct is probably gonna be to get my ass home but depending on what’s going down I might be instinctively pressed into action
