In the end it's not always worth it, esp if you are risking or jeopardizing your freedom, health, whatever, as you get older you see it's just dumb.
When I was younger, 17-19, my friends and I, not a gang, just a crew of friends, from school, moving work, going to parties, go into it with another similar group, and it escalated into a series of tit for tat beatings, and eventually someone (other side) got their parents house and grandmas house shot up, their car shot up. And someone from their side called in a tip, and 4 of my friends got pulled over with a pistol. Among other things. And that shyt was all over nothing, some retarded bytches, grudges, machismo. When I look back I am embarrassed, like that could have gone so much worse.
