Have you ever had a child in your family die

I made this thread because 2 years ago today my lil cousin died literally out the blue from asthma attaack. shyt was crazy and really shook me up a bit. Compared to all the other deaths in a family, a child dying is easily the worst and nikkas really lose they fukking mind.
has anyone else went through this.

Ya my brothers sister in law i use to talk to her and her daughter loved me she was only 2 yrs old when she died due to liver failure. The transplant didnt work her body rejected it so sad.

Apparently my parents were in the process of adopting a girl my age (2 yrs old at the time) when we lived out of country, she died before it was finalized.
They took it kinda hard since they were good friends with the mother and literally watched this girl grow up, for what little time she was alive.

I always wonder how that would have affected my life

when i was a junior in hs kid in the grade ahead of me died, one of those kids that just mad nice n shyt that everyone likes. his funeral was the worst thing ive ever been to/seen

Yea my cousin's first child was born severely fukked up. The baby could eat, sleep, etc but couldn't talk, hear, and could barely see; it looked more like a doll or something, I really can't describe it. It lived for a couple years before dying, but we had been expecting it all that time. My cousin has MS and her husband (allegedly) had mental problems, so they blame it on that. I don't mean to sound all cold and distant but the baby just never seemed alive to me, it freaked more out tbh...

Ya but the one that messed me up the most was this situation with my ex.

We had a ultrasound appointment she was like 10 wks and they couldn't find the heart beat and told us the baby was dead.

Sitting there at a ultrasound seeing your unborn child with no heart beat and for the doc to confirm it was dead was DEVASTATING FOR ME and to this day i still think about it and its been 6 yrs
