I heard something that made me sad a while back in my world. Apparently her & the guy haven’t been communicating lately though I did see him early last year during a family shindig

I’m talking you see her one day and the next she has a speed knot on her head. How do y’all handle that?

Above the fray.
My pops told me one of his nephews was beating on his wife. Him and some of his uncles came to get him and beat him down in a park in jennings late at night and told him to get out of saint louis the next day.

That boy moved to California and hasnt returned since.
They likely saved her and him.
He might have eventually killed her and/or her relatives might shot him.

I have heard that some of my female relatives had hands put on them by their significant others in the past.

My position is that I stay out of their business because more than likely, my relatives are going to still deal with those people and that pretty much happened.

I don't have the time nor energy to play bodyguard for people who choose to deal with violent people. If they wanna put up with abuse, then that's on them. Of course, I wish none of my family members become victims nor perpetrators, but at the end of the day, it is their lives to live...

As far as I know now, everyone that is in a relationship is happy with their significant other, so....

Any man that's ever been introduced to the family, we always have a sit down talk with him. Let him know as long as he's around and treating our sister/cousin/niece etc right then he's like family to us and that there's nothing we won't do to help them etc. Man to man we tell him if hes cheating, break her heart etc etc etc, that's on her....but that if he ever put his hands on her that he's definitely putting himself in danger.

I mean yea you can whoop a nikkas ass but what the point if she will stay with him? Family or not, you put yourself at risk and sometimes it ain't worth. I remember reading about some dude that got 10 years for shooting his mom's boyfriend and she called the cops.

Can't help someone if they don't want to help themselves.

If you put hands on my family, you might as well have put your hands on me. I can't imagine something that would make me more angry.

You can tell who was rasied around men and who wasn't in threads like these. No way is a man suppose to see a male family presence in his girls life and have the balls to try it.. At that point he's saying fck them bytch nikkas in your family..

Had to put hands on a nikka in my neighborhood cuz he slapped my sister. My friend sent goons to the nikka house before I even heard about it, but ole boy peeped game and didn't come out side. Dude got real shook after that and stayed in the crib on some shut in shyt.

Finally caught that nikka on the block like 4 days later and stole on him myself.

This. Male presence is key dudes in my fam always press new nikkas the females in the fam date off top at fam functions. we haven't had a problem since young when a cuz and boyfriend we found out beat on her she was hiding it but this situation she couldnt..once we found out we took her phone and texted him to meet..when he arrived at said spot put the hands and feet of God on this man and prayed over him :troll: ..after he gets out the hospital she went back to him...we cordial now but I never fukked with her after that and never got involved in domestic fam shyt again but that type situation has never happened since, I believe females in the fam probably tell that story to those that they date:pachaha:

If she's willing on wanting to stay with the dude, she's not going to go running to y'all for help when she gets her ass beat.

My blood cousin, my father's older brothers son went to jail for this. Female family came over said "my boyfriend beat me up...." My uncles and my cousins went and tuned that dude up.

Long story short, my cousin did about 10 years in memphis and that relationship is beyond over and done with. The abuser hasn't written, called, texted, liked a picture on Facebook, driven by, nothing. And he's alive. He just got fukked up bad.

My cousin did his bid, he believes it was worth it, as does the rest of the family. Dude was gone a long time, but we don't have them DV issues in our family.
