No one knows any of them :yeshrug: I know Kilo Ali by name only
Damn son, Kilo Ali still is one of the most played local rappers to Atlanta folks. Most of us can rap his songs word for word. Living in Houston, I definitely hear a lot of Scarface but he's not as popular with the kids as Travis Scott or Sauce Walka

why are these dumbazz threads allowed on this site? If you've never heard anyone playing Scarface or the Geto Boys, you were definitely born after 2005. Especially considering Geto Boys had one of the hottest songs in all of 1991. goddamn!!1

Definitely got play in the Bay. Rap A Lot got nothing but love in the Bay, and that TX to Cali migration always had us connected to the Texas music scene.

Very wild to see an Atlanta native not have heard Scarface music out in the wild. And miss me with we had our own talent - the bay was always big on its own artists plus all the national acts from LA keeping the radio on lock, yet we managed to get a ton of Houston, New Orleans and Atlanta music out here

I got 3 scarfaces albums in rotation on my phone's library. I also bump DJ screw everyday so, some face or geto boys stay popping up.

Bruh was in Atlanta so that explains it all. It's a million atl wrappers that nobody gave AF about in Texas. Just opposite ends of the south

Him being held in high regards is nothing new though and is definitely not limited to The Coli. He gets his props all over and lot of people legitimately do see him as a Top 5/10 emcee. From his peers (Biggie, Pac, Jay, Nas, DMX, Kool G. Rap, Ice Cube, Bun B, Pimp C, T.I., etc.) to fans.

He’s the definition of your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper
What's crazy is TI, Goodie Mobb, etc stay talking about how much they love and grew up on Face and geto boys. How all OP's favorite atlanta rappers love and grew up on face, but somehow OP never heard it anywhere

nobody from atlanta is disputing the OP tho.

its moreso southwest connect posters.

::jbhmm:

We played Scarface in atlanta. Especially when The Fix came out and he was doing records with Roc-a-fella.

but he wasnt as popular as a bunch of other artists down here. So if you were younger, i could see someone making that argument. You had to be older or a hip-hop head to really mess with Face.
