Have you ever knowingly worked with people who had HIV/AIDS?

Years ago I worked around one dude at home depot who I didn't know had HIV until he got fired. I surprised because he was flaming.

I don't of anyone else off the top of my head though.

I only know one person who had AIDS. He was a local musician. He had been on drugs heavy, back in the 80’s. His wife had it, and she died a year or so before he did.

Probably. I volunteered a lot when I was younger for ppl at risk.

My ex had a co worker who caught the pack from her druggie ex. Sweet , older black lady. That combo of sweetness and street smarts. Lead a clean life from what I know, but she kept letting dude come back in her life. He died pretty fast and I’m not sure what happened to her . My ex used to wake up crying over this lady, she was just that cool of a person.

One of my clients today for financial counseling has HIV but overall she’s a nut job. Was a stock broker in Wall Street and left after she was mugged and beat to a coma during the crack days of NyC.
